Are you an experienced Accounting Technician looking for a role that involves working on a wide variety of clients in a fast growing accountancy practice?

The ideal candidate will be qualified or part qualified accounting technician with a minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a similar environment

Roles, responsibilities and requirements of the job

  • Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts and supporting schedules;
  • Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments;
  • Processing purchase invoices;
  • Completing VAT returns;
  • Completing CIS returns;
  • Bank reconciliations;
  • Maintaining fixed asset registers;
  • Payroll;
  • Dealing with prepayments and accruals;
  • Preparing year end files for team leader/accountants;
  • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing;
  • Have experience working to deadlines;
  • An ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism;
  • Proficient computer skills (especially with spreadsheets and financial software);
  • An ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and written and develop relationships with clients;
